The Governor’s job approval rating is strong as well, with 60% of voters approving of the job he is doing and 26% disapproving.
- Governor Parson leads Galloway 54%-36%, with 7% undecided
- The Governor also leads among key swing voters, leading 53%-35% among Independent men and 48%-37% among Independent women.
- In a hypothetical GOP primary matchup against Eric Greitens, Parson leads 56%-30%, with 11% undecided.
- Among GOP primary voters, Parson’s favorable to unfavorable ratio (70:8) is considerably stronger than former Governor Greitens’ (49:26).
- Perhaps most importantly, in the general election, while Parson leads Galloway by 18-points, Greitens trails the Auditor 44%-45%, with 7% undecided.
While national Democrats will undoubtedly pump millions of dollars into the Missouri Governor’s race, Governor Parson will be extremely difficult to defeat and is poised to be elected to a full term in November.
