Reince Priebus to be Donald Trump’s chief of staff

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus will be President-elect Donald Trump’s chief of staff, Politico reported Sunday afternoon.

Politico’s Marc Caputo tweeted the news first.

Several names were floated as potential candidates for the position, though GOP leaders appear to want Preibus would like to see in the role.

When asked Saturday if Priebus would get the job, Kellyanne Conway who served as Donald Trump‘s campaign manager and is part of his transition team, said he “expressed interest” in the position.
