Jim Gilmore endorses Donald Trump for President

My endorsement of Donald Trump for President:
I want to clear up any confusion that may exist about my position on the November election. While I hadn’t been formally asked to do so, today I wanted to make clear that I endorse the Republican nominee, Donald Trump for the Presidency and I urge every voter in the Commonwealth of Virginia to join me in doing so. Whether or not we agree with Mr. Trump on every issue it is clear that Hillary Clinton is unfit for the Presidency in every way.

As Co-Chair of Team Virginia, the organization dedicated towards electing all our Republican nominees, I am doing everything I can to help him defeat Hillary Clinton and have been traveling the Commonwealth of Virginia urging others to vote for Mr. Trump and the entire Republican ticket. I spoke at almost every district convention and many other Republican meetings urging everyone to unite behind the Trump-Pence ticket. I have been working with the Trump campaign press staff doing interviews and press releases in support of the campaign. I have also appeared on a number of cable TV programs supporting Mr. Trump. I am serving on Mr. Trump’s Agricultural Advisory Committee and I have been asked to serve on another committee that hasn’t been announced yet. With my time and my sweat equity, I have endorsed Mr. Trump against Hillary Clinton and to clear up any confusion, I do so again with this statement.

I look forward to appearing at the Liberty Farm Festival in Paris, VA with the next Vice-President of the United States, Mike Pence, tomorrow, in support of our Republican ticket.
